Wild garlic (Allium ursinum), or ramsons. This herb grows abundantly throughout Europe and Asia and prefers semi-shade under deciduous trees. It can be eaten raw or cooked. The leaves start to grow in late winter and it has white flowers in spring before the deciduous trees produce leaves. It then dies back until the following year. | |
