Lead bromide precipitate, 2 of 3. Lead (II) nitrate (Pb(NO3)2) is poured into a beaker containing potassium bromide (KBr). Both solutions are clear and have 0.2 M concentrations. White lead (II) bromide precipitate (PbBr2) is formed: KBr + Pb(NO3)2 -> PbBr2 + KNO3. This is an example of a double displacement reaction. | |
