Crowned lemur (Eulemur coronatus) in a tree with a baby. Crowned lemurs are endemic to the northern forests of Madagascar. Their bodies can reach lengths of 35 centimetres,with a tail that can grow to 45 centimetres. Crowned lemurs are social animals living in matriarchal groups of between 5 and 15 individuals.
