Chinstrap penguin (Pygoscelis antarctica) colony. These penguins live in massive colonies that can number millions of birds. Penguins are flightless marine birds with flipper-like wings and with webbed feet,making them excellent swimmers. They have short dense and waterproof feathers. These penguins are the most numerous of the penguins and are found on Antarctic coasts and subantarctic islands where they feed in the surrounding waters,mostly on krill.
