It feeds on furniture stuffing,groceries,wallpaper paste,& other such delicacies. It is seen here surrounded by a feast consisting of skin scales,synthetic & woollen fibres,cat fur,& soil particles. The body of the mite is divided into three distinct areas; the head region called gnathosoma,the propodosma,the second section which carries the first and second walking legs and the hysterosoma where the third and fourth walking legs are found.
