Virtual reality pool playing. View of a pool shot displayed through virtual reality goggles. These goggles are linked to a computer which finds the best available shot, and shows exactly how to hit it. The computer projects two white lines onto the goggles,as seen at upper left. One leads from the cue ball to the target, and the other from the target to the pocket. If the cue ball is hit along the first line, the target ball will follow the second. The computer, which is small enough to be comfortably carried, gathers the information using a tiny camcorder attached above the player's goggles.
