Nuclear dismantling robot arm. Female operator uses a virtual reality image whilst operating a robotic arm used to dismantle nuclear facilities. The operator moves the robot arm by manipulating an arm-like controller. The actual arm is shown on a television monitor at top left. The arm's actions are simulated by specially-developed 3- dimensional computer programs and are displayed on a screen at bottom left; the arm is white and obstacles are brown and purple.
