Prostate cancer is one of the most common male cancers,usually affecting the elderly. Some enlargement of the prostate with age is considered normal. However,the growth of a tumour can obstruct the neck of the bladder,impairing urination and leading to bladder problems. Treatment involves surgery to remove the prostate gland or radiotherapy.
