| Conjugated linoleic acid capsules. Capsules containing conjugated linoleic acid (CLA),a fat found naturally in cow's milk. Scientists at the Universities of Southampton and Reading,England,are testing whether CLA supplements can enhance the human immune system. As well as helping the body to fight bacterial infections,previous research suggests that CLA can act as an anti- cancer agent,by stimulating the immune system to destroy cancerous tumours. If its health benefits are proven,CLA levels in milk and other dairy products could be enriched.
