It is more commonly found in the form of a chemical salt,combined with potassium (K-GHB) or sodium (Na-GHB). It is used as an intoxicant,like alcohol,but an overdose is easy and there are dangerous side-effects. These include dizziness,nausea,unconsciousness,convulsions,and death. Its sale and use is illegal in many countries. It is also used as a sleep-aid,in body-building,and it is also a natural component of human cells
