| Anti-inflammatory drug. Bottle of water and powder and syringe for an emergency injection of the drug hydrocortisone. This is also a hormone secreted by the adrenal glands. In drug form it is used to treat deficiencies in disorders of these glands,and also in its main role as an anti-inflammatory. The sterile water (centre) is injected into the bottle (left) with the needle. Once the powder has dissolved,a one-off injection can be carried out.
