Rock track. Large rock with a track showing its movement in an area of the Death Valley desert,USA,known as the Devil's Racetrack. Rocks move long distances leaving tracks behind them in this flat plain area (playa). Although there is no recorded evidence of this occurring,various theories exist. The most widely accepted theory is that water (dew) lubricates the rock's surface,which is then moved due to strong winds
