Comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko from Rosetta. This comet (67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko) is around 3.5 by 4 kilometres. This close-up shows boulders,craters and steep cliffs on the base of the comet's 'body'. The European Space Agency's Rosetta spacecraft was launched in March 2004 on a 10 year mission to reach this comet. It entered orbit on 6 August 2014 at a point in the comet's orbit beyond the orbit of Mars.
