Foam fire extinguisher. Pressurized cylinder containing foam for use in extinguishing a fire. The origins of a fire determine the extinguisher to use. This extinguisher is suitable for use on fires involving flammable liquids,or solid materials such as wood,paper and textiles. The Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) forms a blanket over the fire,smothering it.
