Hearing dogs are used by people who are deaf or have some form of hearing loss. The training is done using disguises to help the trainer show the dog what to do. Hearing dogs are trained to respond to sounds like doorbells,fire alarms,telephones and alarm clocks,and to then alert their owner. The hearing dog is wearing a harness identifying it as such.
